MEANING OF OBESITY: The term â€Å"overweight† â€Å"obesity† refer to body weight that is greater than what is considered healthy for a certain height. The most useful measure of overweight obesity is body mass index (BMI). BMI is calculated from your height and weight. In other way the condition of being obese is increased body weight caused by excessive accumulation of fat. The terms â€Å"overweight† â€Å"obese† describe weight ranges that are above what is medically accepted as healthy.
